The Apex XP series binoculars feature powerful optics made from premium materials. Thanks to the ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass, you can observe your surroundings in stunning resolution and colour. The prisms in the APEX XP 10x42 binoculars are made from the high-performance BaK-4 glass material.
Coating
The binoculars also feature a cutting-edge coating. The unique PXA phase coating ensures that images are bright and full of contrast. There is also an HR metal prism coating, which lets more light into your eyes for even brighter images.

Just like all other models from the ALPEN Apex XP series, the 10x42 binoculars are suitable for use in adverse weather conditions. In addition to a waterproof housing that prevents water from entering the optics, they also feature a nitrogen filling that stops the lenses from fogging up from the inside.
