This adapter replaces the M42x0.75 Adapter for CCD Camera that comes standard with the EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC 3-inch Field Flattener/0.7x Focal Reducer. Allows the connection of a camera via M48x0.75 thread. The larger free inner diameter than T2/M42 effectively prevents vignetting when using a full format camera. The illumination of the camera sensor is therefore optimised.
